ESG: from optimism to pragmatism – 18 June, London

02/05/2019

Join our London breakfast briefing in partnership with Financial News.

ESG is no longer a peripheral exercise and is becoming integral to institutional investment. How should institutional investors embed ESG principles and practices into their day-to-day activity?

Our recent 2019 Global ESG Survey uncovered that the majority of institutional investors currently invest more than 25% of funds in ESG, and 66% find data to be a challenge. Nonetheless, hopes remain high and there is a growing tendency to upskill employees and hire new talent from non-traditional backgrounds.

In this breakfast briefing, we bring together voices from across the investment world to discuss the tools, resources and approaches required for true ESG integration.

The expert panel features:

  • David Harris, Group Head of Sustainable Business, London Stock Exchange Group & Head of Sustainable Investment, FTSE Russell
  • Lisa Beauvilain, Head of Sustainability and ESG, Impax Asset Management
  • Frank Roden, Head of Asset Managers, EMEA, BNP Paribas Securities Services

The panel will be moderated by Francesco Guerrera, Head of International, Dow Jones.

Date: Tuesday 18 June

Time: 8AM – 10:30AM

Venue: News Building, London Bridge, London [see map]
