BNP Paribas Securities Services appoints Patrick Hayes as head of the UK, Middle East and South Africa

BNP Paribas Securities Services, a leading global custodian with USD 9 trillion in assets under custody, has appointed Patrick Hayes as Head of the UK, Middle East and South Africa. Hayes takes over from James McAleenan, who is retiring

Hayes was previously the Managing Director of International Fund Services Europe for State Street, based in Ireland. He spent more than 25 years at State Street in a variety of roles including Head of Global Markets Operations and in senior roles leading fund accounting and operational teams. Hayes also spent two years as Head of Global Relationship Management for Global Fund Services clients at Northern Trust before going back to State Street in 2007.

Hayes will lead the BNP Paribas Securities Services’ teams in the UK, Middle East and South Africa and be responsible for helping the bank achieve its growth targets in these locations.

Hayes will join BNP Paribas Securities Services at the end of June. He will be based in London and will report to José Placido.
